Kanter leads Estonian squad of 19 to Berlin

    • Ksenija Balta celebrates her surprise victory in the long jump, where she leapt to a world-leading 6.87m, an Estonian record
    Gerd Kanter, the Olympic champion in the Discus Throw, leads Estonia's squad of 19 to the 12th IAAF World Championships in Athletics in Berlin, Germany (15 – 23 August).

    The team also includes European indoor Heptathlon champion Mikk Pahapill (Decathlon) and European indoor Long jJump champion Ksenia Balta.
